Every day I wear a plain silver ring on my right hand. It was the first ‘real’ piece of jewellery I bought for myself many moons ago as a teenager. I also wear a silver half-engraved bangle which was a 21st Birthday gift from my late Gran. And finally earrings, simple silver studs with a cz stone… I can’t afford real diamonds & would be too worried to wear them just in case I lost one!

Callum was a surviving triplet so I have 2 angel charms to represent his two dear brothers, who are now in heaven. It used to be my angagement and wedding rings but since having the kids they no longer fit ;-(
I always wear my wedding ring, which was customised from my grandma’s wedding ring. I had two gold bands joined to her ring. It was a way for me to have her involved in the wedding. I also wear an eternity ring and another old ring that again belonged to my grandma! My daughters bought me a Lovelink glass heart for my birthday the other year and I wear that on a necklace so that they are close to me all the time. Finally a simple set of earrings now, which is a far cry from my student days when I had 5 in one ear and 3 in the other and a nose ring!

Besides my wedding ring i seem to always wear my gold locket. It has pictures of both my daughters and i wear their photos in the locket close to my heart every day.
I wear my grandma’s wedding ring everyday. After she died my grandad told me to look after it and keep it always, so I do, it’s really dainty and pretty in rose gold, I love it.

The only jewellery I wear everyday is a ring my brother brought me in my last year of Sixth Form when I was considering going to university.
It is gold, and has a guardian angel on it. The words ‘my guardian angel protect me and keep me safe’ are engraved around the ring.
The reason I wear it everyday is because it is of sentimental value to me – much as my brother hated to admit it, my sister in law told me the reasoning behind him buying it for me. If I was to go to university, he didn’t want me ever feeling alone, so by giving me this ring, if I ever felt alone, I could look down and know that there were people who cared about and loved me back home.
Needless to say, I didn’t go to university, but I still wear the ring till this day, and everytime I do look at it – it does remind me of him

I wear my paternal grandmother’s wedding ring, she died when I was still quite young. I used to wear her engagement ring too but as it was given to me on my 18th, I decided it would be nice to make the same gesture to my niece when she turned 18 so I passed it on. I also wear a rather nice little sapphire ring that was given to me as an impromptu gift on a birthday by a dear friend. It reminds me that there are good friends in this world.

The only ring I wear every day is a beautiful ruby ring which my grandpa bought for my granny to mark the end of the second world war. The ruby is real, but the diamonds around are not. Apparently diamonds for jewellery were scarce at that time. It is nonetheless a lovely thing with great sentimental value and I never go out without it.

I love jewellery, and lot of of bits and pieces to match my clothes and mood. The only trouble is I’m always forgetting to actually wear them so they often end up sat in a drawer. This looks just the thing with the promise of spring and summer flowers. Lovely!

What a great competition! As a mother of two under 3, I seldom wear pretty jewellery and what I do own is rather ‘child-proof’ as it tends to be dribbled on, swung from or used in dressing up. I do, however wear my wedding and engagement rings every day, I only take them off to clean them, they are an important part of me and a symbol of my marriage to my wonderful husband. I always wear 2 pairs of studs in my ears everyday, simply because if I don’t, they will close up =(
And I nearly always wear the ring my boyfriend gave me, it’s too big for me now, since I lost 5st, but I like to wear it, it reminds me of the lovely times we spend together.

I wear a ring that I was given for my 18th [ now 42 ] and a ring given to my by my late mother in law. Also a ring with my birthstone in it. I usually wear small hoop earrings and a chain necklace for work but costume jewellery at weekends.

I wear a ring that belonged to my grandmother which is a small turquoise stone. I used to love looking at this ring whenever I could sneak a look in her jewellery box as a kid. It reminds me of my childhood whenever I look at it.

I wear my engagement ring and also an eternity ring that was given to me by my aunt. She originally gave it to me as an engagement ring because we couldn’t afford to buy one. It was brought for her by my uncle. After my uncle died, she gave the ring back to me and now I always wear it.

I normally wear a gold initial necklace which I was bought for my 21st, but its waiting to go and have the chain repaired. Its over 30 years old now, does that make it an antique yet?

Wedding ring and wishbone ring. The latter was bought for me by my parents for my 21st birthday and is unusual in that it is ‘V’ shaped on four sides (best way I can think of describing it!). Though it’s nothing special by way of value, to me it is irreplaceable and worth more than most things in the world (excepting my family). I tend to wear my engagement ring and eternity ring if I am going out of the house and further than the school run.

I always wear my wedding ring – I never take it off! I also always wear my gran’s eternity ring on my right hand (on what is your wedding ring finger on your left hand). This ring has huge sentimental value to me and that’s why I will never take it off. I only wear my engagement and eternity ring when I’m going out the house to somewhere further than taking my little one’s to school. I’ve also always got an earring in my helix piercing.

I wear my rings usually 7 of them ( including wedding and engagement ) its strange if i am not wearing one i feel weird and unbalanced.
During the day I always wear my grandmas engagement ring, a silver ring with a blue topaz that I cant get off my finger and a silver necklace with a small key containing a diamond. When I go out on an evening I change it all for big chunky pieces x
In addition to my own wedding ring, I wear a Claddagh ring my godmother gave me over 30 years ago that’s worn so thin it’s split, and my mother’s engagement, wedding and eternity rings. As my mother and godmother are no longer alive, they have huge sentimental value to me.
I have a red flat pebble like bead necklaces a bought from Scope charity shop in Leicester. It’s quite simple, but I love the colour and seems to work well with my outfits. Another favourite is one I bought from Miss Selfridges, it’s a huge mix of different sized chains and some pearls too, looks like I’m wearing about 10 necklaces all at once.

Always wear my engagement,wedding and eternity rings, and a gold Longines watch, all presents from my loving husband. I try to colour match my jewellery, necklaces, with what I’m wearing. Most of this has sentimental value as it’s usually birthday or christmas presents from my 3 boys. A favourite of the moment is a mauve morano glass heart with a rose encased in it, a present from my mother.

I still wear the locket even though both my girls used it as a teether and it has their tiny teeth marks on it. Many of my friends have commented on why I wear a dented locket and have offered to buy me a new one but I know what caused all the little dents so it makes it all the more special to me.

I wear a carved bone maori “infinity loop” twist koru pendant. I have now lived over half my life away from New Zealand, but, this wee piece of jewellery keeps it close to my heart always.
I always wear my engagement ring never ever take it off platinum and diamond gotta love it and my friend has been going through a really bad time with her treatment and at christmas she gave me a stunning silver bracelet and i hardly ever take it off now.would love to win this necklace to give to her in return!

I wear the engagement ring my ex husband gave me (still love him dearly) and a necklace of the day, chosen from the vast selection hanging from the wire decorative art stationed on my bedroom wall either side of the window.(Most of which purchased from charity shops down the road) I love to dress up. I even do the painting and decorating in my pearls!

I wear a silver necklace with a cultured pearl as a pendant it was our 30th(pearl) wedding anniversary last year and we went to a special shop where you choose the oyster and they made it into a necklace it was fascinating and a great gift for a special occasion.
