We were saddened to hear about the death of Elizabeth Taylor yesterday, and wanted to pay our own tribute to a woman who was not only one of the most beautiful women of all time, but who owned some of the most beautiful jewels, and certainly know how to wear them! She herself admitted that the three great loves of her life were husbands Mike Todd, Richard Burton and jewellery, although she admitted: You can’t try on a diamond’s shoulder, and diamonds won’t keep you warm at night. But they’re sure fun when the sun shines.

Her love affair with jewelry started early on. My mother says I didn’t open my eyes for eight days after I was born, but when I did, the first thing I saw was her engagement ring. I was hooked!
