Jennifer Aniston was dripping in diamonds at the Academy Awards ceremony this past Sunday. 10.7 million dollars worth of diamonds to be exact. Not only did Aniston arrive in an alluring Atelier Versace dress, she came adorned in two Lorraine Schwartz custom designed jewelry pieces. One set of emerald - cut, 100 carat diamonds graced the actresses ears, while she wore a Golconda 20 carat diamond ring atop her finger. As the diamonds retail at about 8.7 million, they are truly valued at 10.7 million. However, apparently Jennifer Aniston could care less.
At plenty of past interviews, Aniston has claimed that diamonds are not really her best friend. Recently in 2015, Aniston made a statement about her 8 carat diamond ring from husband Justin Theroux, stating that while he definitely put a rock on her finger - it took her a while to get used to it. Aniston concluded by explaining that she is just 'not a diamond girl'. Her presentation at the Oscars showed no difference of opinion as her 7.7 million dollar earrings were blocked by her hair for most of the evening. Even as the actress introduced the annual In Memoriam bit of the night, you could barely see the diamonds shimmer. It seems as if diamonds do not have an effect on Aniston, but Bill Paxton's passing sure did as she had an emotional moment on stage in remembrance of the legend, may he rest in peace.
Still, no matter if Jennifer Aniston loves diamonds or not she sure looks good in them. This years 2017 Oscars definitely brought Aniston's sexy back.
